SURPRIIIIISE!!!!!
Turning 50 years old was my excuse to organize this trip. Have lived for half of a century is a big deal and should've been celebrated, right?
But lets be honest... I would find any reason to have a trip to Cuba with my besties, anyway.
They took it seriously, because they are awesome friends!
They made matching t-shirts, got me gifts, cards, decorations and organized a surprise party for me at the hotel. It worked! I had no idea, and even though I am nor a fan of surprises, I was really happy with this thoughtful plan.
Dinner was simple but satisfying: fish, vegetables and rice.
The best dessert so far was really this amazing cake made for me!
I shared with people at the restaurant, of course.
Here we are, ready to celebrate my 50 years old, even though I really want to stress that I am still 49 here! And will be for another 3 months. :)
Coincidentally, the hotel had organized a luau party on the beach of its guest. Perfect!
My party just got extended, with more guests, musicians, drinks and a full moon.

I didn't invite all these people, and I am not 50 years old yet... but it has worked really well.
