THIS TRIP HAPPENED 5 MONTHS AGO, IN MARCH 2023.
BUT HERE IT IS!
Here we go again. March break has always been our favourite time to visit family in Brazil. The girls have a week off, the weather down there is great, tourists have gone home already, and we are sick and tired of the winter in Canada!
This time we'll add another family trip into the mix. We are heading to Natal, the capital of sunny Rio Grande do Norte state, which is just south of the Equator. It would be our first time in that state, although I have visited around it. It promises!

We are in New York City, can't you tell?
Air Canada direct flight prices were super high. We are doing a long trip, with stop over in the USA to save CAN $1000 a person. That's CAN $4000 extra money in our pockets, but a terribly long journey.
Here is the route - that will end up talking 31 hours - Toronto- New York - São Paulo - Natal.
